Frigiliana is a charming and dramatically sited village built on a mountain
side surrounded by beautiful countryside and spectacular views, 6 km from the resort of Nerja. The village is of great antiquity and
preserves to a remarkable extent an old world Andalusian atmosphere. Excellent
beaches are to be found at Nerja and beyond. The Andalusian and Moorish sites
at Granada and Cordoba are within are easy range.
The village has been awarded the title of the most beautiful and best maintained Andalusian village several times. The whitewashed houses line the cobbled streets which gently carve their way through the picturesque village up to the castle ruins.
The house is in the old Moorish part of the village, at the end of a courtyard through a red brick arch leading off the picturesque street of steps called Hernando el Darra. The house has a south facing terrace with views overlooking the sea. A stay at this house offers a taste of the real old Spain, as many of the old architectural features still remain, whilst still being close to beaches, mountains, pools, restaurants and many other attractions.

Ground floor - large square hall, and a bedroom with twin beds, shower room with washbasin, loo and shower, from the hall there are a few steps up to a large kitchen/dining/sitting room, further few steps up to a room which can be used either as a bedroom with twin beds or as a separate sitting room, then up a few more steps leading up to a large terrace with striking views over the mountains and sea.
